Join us for Beyond the Score: Brave Conversations on ACEs, a powerful and hope-filled panel discussion featuring four inspiring individuals who have experienced trauma and overcome adversity. These courageous speakers will share their personal journeys—how they felt when they first learned their ACE score, the steps they've taken to heal, and how they’ve turned their experiences into a passion for helping others.
This panel will explore important themes such as:
Acknowledging Challenges: Panelists will address common misconceptions about childhood adversity and share insights from their experiences.
Protective Factors & Positive Childhood Experiences (PCEs): Learn how moments of care and connection played a pivotal role in their healing.
Building Resilience: Panelists will highlight the strengths they developed as children and the self-care practices they embrace today.
Messages for Professionals: Gain meaningful insights on what teachers, caseworkers, and medical providers can do to better support children and families facing adversity.
Hope & Healing: Hear uplifting stories of triumph and what gives these panelists hope for the future.
In addition to hearing from the panelists, attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions, learn their own ACE score, and discover more about BraveBe’s Brave fACEs initiative.
The Brave fACEs program is designed to raise awareness about Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) while promoting protective factors, positive childhood experiences, and resilience. By amplifying the voices of those who have lived through trauma, Brave fACEs empowers survivors to share their stories, advocate for change, and foster healing within the community.
